Good Ambler, a new café from Mondelez International (the company behind well-known brands such as Oreo, Cadbury and Chips Ahoy!), is set to open later this spring once the state of Illinois lifts its stay-at-home order.

The bakery and café, which will be located on the ground floor of Mondelez International headquarters, isn’t waiting until then to get business going. Good Ambler is selling a variety of menu items for pickup and delivery through Caviar and DoorDash.

Among the available items are croissants (classic, chocolate, ham and cheese), kougin amann, coffee cake, gluten-free coconut ginger cake and a muffin of the week. There are also two DIY kits available: the DIY Lemon Meringue Pie Tarts kit contains 4 tart shells, lemon curd to fill the tarts and crispy almond meringues to top off each tart, while the DIY Sunny Days Ahead Cookies kit contains 3 sun cookies, 2 butterfly cookies and 3 piping bags filled with green, black and orange icing for self-decorating.

When it finally opens to customers, Good Ambler won’t feature Mondelez International’s famous brands, but on special occasions it may sell treats inspired by these brands. Instead, under pastry chef Kevin McCormick, it will offer sweets like cajeta caramels and vanilla lime bon bons as well as savory items. There will also be a full coffee bar.

Mondelez International moved its headquarters in early April, to a five-story office in Fulton Market, near Google’s offices and McDonald’s headquarters.
