Growing donut franchise Duck Donuts is celebrating the change in seasons with flavors to match. Two new toppings, chopped apple, and a streusel, are now available on the menu to add extra crunch to its cake donuts.

These toppings join the returning pumpkin spice icing in being ideal flavors for the brand’s donuts, as well as its popular donut sundaes.

“Duck Donuts is continuously innovating and working towards providing its customers new and exciting flavors each season, especially ones that come highly requested by our customers, such as apple,” says Russ DiGilio, founder and CEO of Duck Donuts Franchising Company. “We are ready to welcome fall and look forward to serving our loyal customers warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts.”

The beverage lineup is also changing at Duck Donuts. Rio Samba is its seasonal featured coffee brew, a medium roasted blend of South American beans with a rich aroma and toasty, nutty layers of flavor. A fall collection of espresso drinks includes staples such as Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Caramel Macchiato, cappuccinos, and unique beverages such as Caramel Apple Butter Latte and Maple Pancake Latte.

Starting on September 1 and lasting throughout the month, Duck Donuts has been raising money for Gabe’s Chemo Duck Program, a nonprofit organization in Nashville that provides education and comfort to families living with childhood cancer. Customers can purchase a $1 paper Ribbon Icon to be displayed in stores during the campaign, and Duck Donuts will show its appreciation by giving these customers a “Buy One, Get One Free Donut” coupon offer.
