Magnolia Bakery is bringing its signature treats to New England for the first time. The iconic bakery with locations in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago is finally opening its new store at Boston’s Faneuil Hall inside Quincy Market.

The bakery has previously been speculated to open in December of 2017, but the debut was pushed back. Magnolia had been looking to expand into Boston for quite some time, as it is a major city in the Northeast.

“We are excited to finally be opening our first store in Boston,” says Magnolia Bakery CEO Steve Abrams. “With the iconic nature of the Magnolia Bakery brand, we are excited to have found a partner in the historic Faneuil Hall."

To celebrate the new store, Magnolia Bakery is introducing a Boston-specific item, a Boston Cream Pie banana pudding. Among the other items that will be available at the Boston location include many more banana pudding flavors, as well as favorites such as its signature cupcakes, cheesecake, pies, muffins, cakes, cookies, and brownies.

“Magnolia Bakery will make an exemplary addition to Quincy Market,” says Joe O'Malley, General Manager of Faneuil Hall Marketplace. “Bringing new and exciting experiences for visitors is part of our vision for the future of the marketplace.”
