The Female Quotient, an equality platform that strategically partners with the largest companies in the world to close the gender gap, has teamed with bakery chain Sprinkles for a limited-edition cupcake in celebration of Women’s History Month.

The exclusive cupcake, named the “Female Quotient Red Velvet,” will feature Sprinkles’ signature red velvet flavor topped with cream cheese frosting and elegant rose gold sprinkles, a nod to The Female Quotient’s signature rose gold branding. Adding a touch of inspiration, each cupcake will be decorated with a poignant message from The Female Quotient: “Equality is Sweet.” This collaboration aims to ignite conversations about gender equality and the importance of women's contributions throughout history all with a sweet treat.

“At The Female Quotient, we uplift women every day of the year, and Women’s History Month is a special time of reflection, action and celebration. The FQ is proud to partner with Sprinkles to make advancing equality even sweeter, while also supporting the incredible work at Step Up, one cupcake at a time,” says Caroline Dettman, chief marketing and creative officer at The Female Quotient.

As part of its commitment to supporting women and girls, Sprinkles will make a donation to Step Up, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young women through mentorship and support.

“Sprinkles and The Female Quotient share the same values in supporting the visibility and influence women have in the workplace and beyond. We are thrilled to collaborate on a cupcake together and continue our support with Step Up in honor of Women’s History Month,” says Michelle Wong, chief marketing officer at Sprinkles.

Available for $5.50, The Female Quotient Red Velvet cupcake will be accessible at all Sprinkles bakeries and Sprinkles ATMs nationwide. The treat will be available for purchase from March 8-24, both in-store and online.

The Female Quotient Red Velvet Cupcake can also be found at The FQ’s Signature Equality Lounge @ SXSW 2024 taking place on March 9 and 10 at Waller Creek Boathouse in Austin, Texas. The FQ Equality Lounge @ SXSW is created by women and open to all, regardless of badge status.
