February is National Black History Month, and Sprinkles Cupcakes has been honoring the month by recognizing three trailblazers of our time – Amanda Gorman (2/1-2/10), Naomi Osaka (2/15-2/21) and Zendaya (2/22-2/28).
Throughout February, customers have been able to enjoy red velvet cupcakes adorned with a custom quote decoration by one of these women. The Southern-style light chocolate cake features cream cheese frosting and a custom decoration with a quote from Amanda Gorman, Naomi Osaka or Zendaya.
The quotes include:
- Amanda Gorman – “There is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it, if only we’re brave enough to be it”
- Naomi Osaka – “Just because it isn’t happening to you, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening at all”
- Zendaya – “Seeing Black women win in any form, brings me joy”
Sprinkles Cupcakes has partnered with the Center for the Healing of Racism in the quest for equality and justice.
