Two popular Chicago eateries are partnering for the second year in a row for the Taste of Chicago To Go Pop Up, on Saturday, July 10.

Eli’s Cheesecake and Robinson’s Ribs will hold the tasting event in the Eli’s Cheesecake parking lot that day from 10 am to 4 pm. A portion of proceeds will go to the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences’ college scholarship fund for deserving graduating seniors.

The two will bring their popular items for visitors to try. The menu will feature a variety of cheesecake and of Dippers (frozen cheesecake on a stick) as well as a barbecue truck. Guests can also purchase whole cheesecakes.

“We’re so happy to be a part of Taste to Go because Taste of Chicago is very close to our hearts... it’s where my Dad, restaurateur Eli Schulman, introduced his cheesecake to the world, and where Eli’s remains the only original vendor at Taste,” says Marc Schulman, Eli’s president.

The event will include live music, and the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, the only high school in Chicago located on a working farm and dedicated to food and agriculture, is bringing its mobile farm stand with produce, honey and crafts.
