Chicago bakery Eli’s Cheesecake is asking fans to join them on Sunday, June 16 for the bakery's annual Father’s Day Bike Ride event.
That morning, participants will gather at Eli’s Cheesecake Bakery Café at 8:45 a.m. for a continental breakfast. Following that at 10 a.m., the ten-mile recreational bike ride will begin. Eli’s is partnering with Rudy’s Cycle and Fitness for free safety inspections of bicycles and 20 percent off all helmets any day prior to the ride.
Registration for the free event ends at Friday, June 14 at 4 p.m. Participants will receive a free t-shirt and continental breakfast.
Those who visit the bakery can also try out its latest innovation, a dessert pizza. The deep dish cheesecake looks like a Chicago-style deep dish pizza, but is made of Eli’s original plain cheesecake topped with house-made strawberry “pizza sauce” and white chocolate “shredded cheese.”
