Cake decorating expert Kerry Vincent teamed up with renowned sugar artists Bronwen Weber, Cheri Elder and Carolyn Mangold to create a larger-than-life Halloween cake during the Oklahoma State Sugar Arts Show in Tulsa, OK. The event was billed as "Halloween's Last Hurrah," featuring a collection of creative characters and a Halloween cake that stood 15 feet tall with a 28-by-32 foot base.

The massive Halloween-theme showpiece was constructed in 48 hours during the show on Monday and Tuesday after the Grand National Wedding Cake Competition. "This was really important for me, this
gathering of people and the sense of camaraderie and accomplishment," Vincent said.

The event also served as a workshop and class for the many sugar artists who attended this year's show and programs. About 74 people contributed to the cake's construction.
