New York City’s The Doughnut Project has teamed up with premium vodka company Belvedere Vodka this holiday season for a cocktail-inspired doughnut offering.

Taking inspiration from Belvedere’s Heritage 176 cocktail, the Belvedere Heritage 176 Old-Fashioned Doughnut brings to life the unique malted rye flavors through a baked confection topped with a glaze that accentuates the distinctive notes of honey, walnut and allspice with each bite.

“Belvedere’s new Heritage 176 has been well received by consumers and spirits enthusiasts alike since its launch in August, which is why we’re thrilled to be working with Leslie Polizzotto and The Doughnut Project team to offer this unexpected iteration of the new expression for people to enjoy,” says Allison Varone, vice president of Belvedere Vodka, Moët Hennessy USA. “The Doughnut Project’s commitment to innovation, flavor, and the use of fresh, simple ingredients to create something extraordinary is very much in line with Belvedere’s own mission. We can’t think of a better way to surprise and delight fans of Belvedere Vodka than with this exciting collaboration.”

“We are fans of Belvedere Vodka, so we were excited by the opportunity to create this limited-edition doughnut in time for Christmas,” says Leslie Polizzotto, co-founder of The Doughnut Project. “Our respective brands share a lot in common, especially when it comes to innovative offerings that provide customers with a flavorful experience. The Belvedere Heritage 176 Old-Fashioned Doughnut encapsulates those shared values but also the new Belvedere spirit, all in a fun baked confection. We anticipate it will be a must-have this holiday season, either to enjoy yourself or as a gift to others.”

The Belvedere Heritage 176 Old-Fashioned Doughnut will be available at The Doughnut Project's West Village NYC location for $5, debuting the weekend of December 11-13 and again the weekend of December 18-20.
