Chicago-based specialty grocery store and café The Goddess and Grocer is celebrating this spooky season with an assortment of themed cookies for Halloween.

Guests can customize their orders with options from The Goddess and Grocer’s numerous designs--ranging from pumpkins, monsters, the macabre, and more--or request a dealer’s choice assortment. A selection of cookies will also be available in-stores at its Bucktown, Gold Coast and River North locations. Minimum orders of six are $5 each and must be made 48 hours in advance.

The Goddess and Grocer also welcomes the changing leaves and cooler weather of fall with seasonally-inspired dishes, soups, sweets and drinks. The fall specials include standouts like the Harvest Kale and Quinoa Bowl with roasted brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, curry chickpeas, manchego, pepitas, shaved red cabbage and cilantro lime dressing; Short Rib Grilled Cheese with butterkase cheese, arugula, pickled red onions and horseradish sauce on a grilled challah; and a selection of hearty soups like Gumbolaya, Thai Corn Chowder and Butternut Squash.

Newly added café drinks include Black Pepper Chai, Pumpkin Spice Latte and Hot Apple Cider. Featured pastries this season include the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcake and a Pink Ribbon Cupcake, a Devil’s food cake with marshmallow, pink buttercream and a pink breast cancer ribbon. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, The Goddess and Grocer will donate $1 from every Pink Ribbon Cupcake to the Lynn Sage Foundation.
