Miami’s The Salty Donut has made plenty of headlines in Florida with its unique gourmet donuts. Now, the shop is set to debut its first location outside of the state.

The Salty Donut will open its Dallas, Texas location on Tuesday, June 2. Following its opening, the shop will temporarily offer pickup and delivery options only.

The Dallas store is located in the city’s Bishop Arts District known for its diverse nightlife, chic shopping stores and colorful street art. With large interior and exterior areas for customers, the flagship is built for community interaction.

The Salty Donut was founded by Andy Rodriguez and Amanda Pizarro in 2015. After a year of recipe creation and concept development, the two launched a pop-up shop out of a 1950’s Aljoa camper just across the street from what is now the Wynwood shop.
