In a recent issue of Boston magazine, the publication featured the city’s “20 Best Bakeries in Boston for Breads, Sweets, and Savory Treats.”

Included in the top 20 are James Beard Award winner Joanne Chang’s Flour Bakery + Café and Clear Flour Bread, which former owners Christy Timon and Abe Faber sold two years ago to Jon Goodman and wife Nicole Walsh. “The longtime owners sold to a new couple in 2017 and thankfully, nothing has changed — not even the usual line out the door,” writes Jacqueline Cain of Boston magazine.

The article states, “Boston is stocked with bakeshops for every occasion, and these 20 bakeries rise to the top.”
