South Florida is getting a taste for late night sweets, as a new delivery service has debuted in Miami.

Rubio’s Brownies opened in early August and offers a niche service that isn’t currently prevalent in the area. While there are a variety of bakeries and even late night cookie delivery bakeries, brownies are a specific product that hadn’t previously been supplied in that way.

The bakery delivers its products from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. every night to anyone within a ten-mile radius of the Florida International University campus. Six varieties of brownies are available, including traditional dark chocolate, milk chocolate fudge, white chocolate, chocolate Oreo, white chocolate Oreo, and walnut. Limited-edition M&M brownies are also available. Each brownie costs between $3.25 and $4, with a minimum of four brownies per delivery order.

“All of our brownies are fresh, made from scratch, no box or anything. We sift, we mix, we do everything,” says co-founder Alfred Rubio.

“I love brownies. There’s really no place out there that I’ve been able to find that specializes in brownies – at least not as its main source of income,” he says.
