Lamitech, a paperboard manufacturing company that supplies the food industry, announced today that its production facility has passed its annual food safety inspection and audit performed by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) International.
The achievement signifies that Lamitech produces clean, safe paperboard products qualified for use in the food industry. Lamitech received 955 out of 1,000 possible points, a “Superior” rating, and delivered perfect scores of 200 out of 200 points in the two most important areas-sanitation and pest control.
As part of the review process, Lamitech was asked to demonstrate performance in the areas of operational methods and personnel practices, sanitation program and procedures, integrated pest control, overall maintenance, and thoroughness of documentation to validate on-going activities.

“With our fourth audit and inspection now complete, I am proud to state we have been consistently awarded a “Superior” rating for every year that we have conducted an AIB International audit. As we expand our offerings of direct food contact products, beyond fish boards, into the bakery industry through our Signature Food Boards and brands, we have an obligation to provide the highest quality and safest products to enhance the valuable brand images of the businesses we serve” says Adam Reiser, VP and General Manager of Lamitech. “Lamitech has always had a commitment of taking care of our customers’ needs through the pursuit of excellence in our products, production processes and dependable performance, setting us apart from our competition.”
