On April 5, Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken opened its new location in Los Angeles and its first on the West Coast.
The eagerly-anticipated debut was further stoked by the deal offered to visitors: Any person who followed the shop on Instagram at @astrodoughnuts and proved it to the cashier was given a free doughnut.
Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken first rose to prominence in Washington, D.C., where it became a popular destination for its delicious concepts. It has been building a fanbase for a few years, and followed that with a second location in the suburbs outside of D.C.

The third location is the product of the hard work of founders Elliot Spaisman and Jeff Halpern. The childhood friends have worked to bring standout flavors to customers. Items like the Crème Brûlée Donut and the Fried Chicken BLT are some of the most popular dishes on the menu.
Astro will be open for breakfast and lunch, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST, Saturday until 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
