Warm cookie delivery bakery Tiff’s Treats has partnered with Austin-founded jewelry brand Kendra Scott to release an exclusive necklace inspired by co-founder Tiffany Chen’s sister – Melinda Thomas.

Tiffany was inspired to create a custom necklace named after her sister Melinda, a breast cancer survivor, to help raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research. Available for purchase only through Tiff’s Treats, the Melinda Gold Short Pendant Necklace in Aqua Illusion features a faceted stone framed by ornate detailing and is set in 14k gold plated brass on a satellite chain.

“Melinda has been an inspiration to me throughout my life, so partnering with Kendra Scott to create a piece inspired by her strength, beauty, and fighting spirit during her cancer treatment, was a meaningful collaboration,” says Tiffany Chen, co-founder and chief brand officer of Tiff’s Treats. “This piece means so much to our family and we want it to serve as a symbol of hope to others.”

Tiff’s Treats will be donating 20 percent of the purchase price from each necklace sold through December 31, 2023, up to $10,000, to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

“I am so honored to be the inspiration behind this project and incredibly proud of the platform Tiffany has built that allows her to shed light on organizations including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation,” says Melinda Thomas. “BCRF supports research into understanding, preventing, and treating breast cancer. I am grateful to play any role in raising awareness and resources for breast cancer research, and the impact each one of us can make.”
