Ann Arbor, Michigan’s Zingerman's, a community of businesses celebrating its 40th anniversary, has set sights on the future. This month it announced a new co-managing partner, Jaison Restrick, who joins Amy Emberling at Zingerman’s Bakehouse

“In joining Amy as a second managing partner at the Bakehouse, Jaison is making our hopes into an inspiring reality. He’s already contributed enormously over the two decades working here, and I’m honored to have seen his leadership presence grow so beautifully!” says Zingerman’s co-founder Ari Weinzweig.

Restrick, 41, began his career at Zingerman’s Bakehouse as a 17 year old in need of a summer job. Since then, he has worked on everything from retail to wholesale, baking to delivering, and customer service to staff development.

“I look forward to working closely with Amy while I continue to learn, strengthen my leadership skills, and maintain the remarkable culture we already have,” Restrick says.

Zingerman’s Bakehouse co-founder and former managing partner Frank Carollo retired in 2021, nearly 30 years after opening the bakery.
