Nancy Silverton, former winner of the James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Chef Award and founder of La Brea Bakery, is teaming up with Made In for the cookware brand’s latest product.

The Nancy Silverton Porcelain Baking Slab, designed to Silverton’s exact specifications, is made specifically for its large surface area and high walls, both of which are perfect for achieving a flaky crust and ensuring there is enough pie for everyone. The Baking Slab comes from a 200-year-old porcelain recipe and is thermal-shock resistant, oven safe up to 650F, dishwasher safe, and features a hand-painted rim.

The Porcelain Baking Slab is perfect for making slab pies, whether sweet or savory, and has thoughtfully designed walls to support crust formation and is long enough to feed a large group of people.

Additionally, a limited-edition French Porcelain Baking Set includes a 3-piece bakeware set (oval, square, rectangle), each born of a lineage of craftsmen that have been perfecting bakeware from the original, 200-year-old proprietary porcelain recipe and painted with three different bespoke patterns designed by Nancy’s dear friend and Los Angeles-based Grammy award-winning artist, Coco Shinomiya.
