Yonutz, a two-time winner of “Dessert Wars,” the largest dessert festival in America, is coming to Las Vegas later this month. The donut and ice cream shop, famous for its SMASH donuts and donut-topped milkshakes, will hold its official grand opening on Friday, July 23.

The grand opening celebration to commemorate Las Vegas’ first Yonutz will include plenty to entertain ice cream and donut lovers, such as a DJ and face painter, plus a ceremonial ribbon cutting beginning at 10 am. The first 50 people in line will receive a free SMASH Donut, Yonutz’s signature over-the-top donut-ice cream creation. Guests will also have the chance to smash a piñata to win free SMASH Donuts for a year as well as win Yonutz’s SMASH Cash.

“In Las Vegas you go big or go home, and that’s what Yonutz is all about,” says Jordan Leach, vice president of franchise development. “I’m thrilled to bring the first Yonutz donut and ice cream shop to my fellow Las Vegas locals, who I know will be blown away by Yonutz’s treats, just as I have been.”

The 1,500-square-foot donut and ice cream shop will be the first of several planned Yonutz locations throughout Las Vegas, with a Southern Utah location coming soon. The space, designed with colorful walls and eye-catching attractions, will offer indoor seating as well as fun photo opportunities.

Menu items will include Yonutz’s Nutella Crunch SMASH Donut, a fluffy donut stuffed with cookie dough ice cream, smashed and hot-pressed, topped with Oreos, cereal crunch and Nutella drizzle; Unicorn SMASH Donut, stuffed with candy ice cream, smashed and hot-pressed, topped with cotton candy bites and sparkly unicorn glitter; and Birthday Cake SMASH Milkshake, prepared with birthday cake ice cream, ‘birthday Oreos’ and topped with a mini donut.

Additionally, Yonutz will serve imaginative ice cream flavors, a variety of mini and large donuts with toppings, donut decorating kits, a secret menu available for VIPS and more.
