Following a successful pop-up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, chef and owner Gavin Kaysen’s French bistro inspired bakery and café Bellecour is opening a permanent location. Starting Tuesday, September 8, Bellecour is transitioning into a coffee bar while the team officially moves into its new location at Cooks of Crocus Hill in the North Loop with a full bakery build-out taking place in just two short weeks.

The new Bellecour Bakery at Cooks will debut on Saturday, September 19 and will be open daily serving freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks along with a new rotating selection of viennoiserie, patisserie, salads, sandwiches, soups and more, for outdoor dining or take-out.

“We’re filled with gratitude that this collaboration has been so well received,” says Kaysen. “This idea for us to come together was born out of the hardships of the pandemic. It’s inspiring to partner with creative people like Karl and Marie at Cooks who share our dedication to quality, and to bringing the magic of Bellecour to this community.”

“For nearly 50 years, Cooks has been helping people create memories at home,” says Cooks of Crocus Hill owners Karl Benson and Marie Dwyer. “We love that this partnership with Bellecour is now a bright spot in everyday life.”
