Leading chocolatier Godiva officially debuted its first U.S. café in April of this year in New York City. Since then, the company has opened several more cafés in New York City, as part of its effort to launch 2,000 new Godiva Cafés in key markets.

The latest café comes to the Flatiron District of New York City on Thursday, October 24. In celebration of the opening, Godiva will offer the first 1,000 customers a free signature 12-ounce coffee and a piece of chocolate.

The menu at the Flatiron café will include many items found at the other cafés, including Belgian Liege waffles, a selection of coffee beverages, and the exclusive Croiffle, a fresh-made buttery croissant pressed into a hot waffle and available in sweet and savory flavors.

New at the Flatiron location are several sweet and savory Croiffles, including:

  • Turkey Bacon, Egg White, and Swiss Croiffle
  • Chicken and Brie Croiffle
  • Turkey and Cheddar Croiffle
  • Signature Truffle Croiffles: Choose from a Black Forest Cake Truffle, Chocolate Lava Truffle, or Salted Almond Truffle
