Martin Reid has been named chief supply chain officer for Godiva Chocolatier. In his new role, Mr. Reid will be tasked with leading Godiva’s supply chain to support the company’s plan to grow its business fivefold over the next six years.
In addition to expanding distribution channels and geographies to support the extension of the company’s Belgian chocolate into new products and categories, Reid will oversee the launch of 2,000 new Godiva Cafés in key markets. He succeeds Clyde Morgan, who retired from Godiva after eight years.
Reid joins Godiva from The Estée Lauder Companies, where he led manufacturing and supply chain operations. He previously held similar positions in several Fortune 500 companies, including Campbell Soup Co., Covidien, and Proctor & Gamble.
"We are thrilled to have Martin join our Godiva family," says Annie Young-Scrivner, chief executive officer of Godiva. "His extensive domestic and global experience and strong record of driving operational excellence will be invaluable to us as we expand beyond formal gifting to become a daily occasion brand."
