The Dough Jar bills itself as the first raw cookie dough operation in Washington, D.C., and soon it will add a brick-and-mortar location to the mix.

The cookie dough bakery has announced that it will open this location in the Georgetown district on Saturday, August 4. Previously, the brand has run pop-up shops throughout the area, as well as in local stores, online, and through delivery apps such as UberEATS.

“With the success of our pop-up shops and so many inquiries about when we’d get our own spot, it was clear that the next move was our very own brick-and-mortar,” says Lindsay Goldin, Founder/CEO of The Dough Jar. “It's time to ‘dough’ big or ‘dough’ home.”

In addition to its famous filled-to-the-brim dough jars, The Dough Jar will also serve cookie dough in ten flavors scooped into cups and cones, cookie dough ice cream sundaes, cookie dough milkshakes, and much more.

“Getting the scoop shop ready for opening day is one of the most fun things I've ever done, and I can't wait to open the doors to everyone!” says Goldin.
