A St. Louis bakery is doing its part to help fight a debilitating disease. Piccione Pastry is on a purpose to support pancreatic cancer research and prevention with pastries.

During the week of August 22-27, 10% of the bakery’s net sales will be donated to PanCan - Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Funds raised will go to helping the nationwide network of dedicated individuals in its mission to fight the cancer on all fronts, including: research, clinical initiatives, patient services, and advocacy.

These grassroots volunteers are determined to improve patient outcomes and double survival by 2020, and Piccione Pastry hopes that it can contribute to this mission with its signature bakery items.

Piccione Pastry has created a special cannoli for this event. The Pan-Can-Noli is purple to show support for pancreatic cancer awareness, which is represented by that color. The cannoli has a custard based cream infused with blackberries and is drizzled with white chocolate.

The Pan-Can-Noli is available throughout the entire week, as well as the rest of Piccione’s Italian pastries.
