The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Miami, Florida has made headlines with its latest guest experience that has come from a new partnership with French jeweler Lalique.
For $9,703, guests can have their very own Crystal Macaron, the most expensive in the world. It is made with white tea, decorated with edible gold leaf, and rests on a cushion of sugar crystals within a keepsake crystal box. The 9703 price tag refers to the hotel’s address, 9703 Collins Avenue.
Along with the Crystal Macaron, guests also receive an overnight stay at one of the hotel's new four-bedroom Sky Palace Suites, complete with a complimentary butler and four 210 square-foot balconies to with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is also selling new cocktails served in Lalique glasses, which cost $200 per drink. Customers get to keep the glasses, and regular guests of the hotel can get their names engraved on them.
