The Westin Arlington Gateway is proud to welcome Bobbie Miller, the hotel’s new Food and Beverage Director/Executive Chef, to the team. As Northern Virginia continues to evolve and grow, the hotel is excited about the new team member who brings remarkable experience and success to the Westin Arlington Gateway. The hotel is managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts which operates over 100 hotels throughout North American, including 16 hotels in the Washington, DC area.

Miller comes to the hotel with over thirty years of culinary experience, including over ten years working with Starwood branded hotels.  Miller is no stranger to the Westin Arlington Gateway. Chef Miller was part of the opening team at the hotel as the Executive Chef before being promoted to the same position at the Sheraton Tyson Hotel, a hotel hosting one of the largest meeting and event spaces in Fairfax County. She returns to the hotel with expanded responsibilities with oversight of all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage departments.  “I’m excited to be back at the Westin Arlington Gateway,” said Miller. “With all the exciting upgrades that have taken place over the last six month, I feel like a kid in a candy shop. The hotel has always been a favorite in the community for local social events as well as meetings. With a fully renovated space, it’s only natural to upgrade our menu selections as well.”

“We are really excited about our new leader for our food and beverage team,” said Michael Broadhurst, the hotel’s general manager, of the Food and Beverage Director/Executive Chef. “This is perfect timing as we just completed a major renovation of our over 10,000 square feet of function space. Now, with a new take on food and beverage selections for meetings and social events, the sky really is the limit.”

The hotel just completed refreshing all food and beverage outlets. Pinzimini, the hotel’s award winning restaurant, just unveiled its new menu. The restaurant is always adding seasonal offering with their locally sourced fresh ingredients for original menu items.  The hotel also features a full service Starbucks Cafe right on site (with direct hotel and street access) that received a complete floor to ceiling renovation to showcase a new Starbucks Cafe contemporary look. The café just reopened Monday.
