Over the weekend, Food Network held its 2019 New York City Wine and Food Festival. Goldbelly, the New York-based delivery service, hosted two events throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, October 12, Goldbelly founder Joe Ariel, along with Sweets ‘N Beats, hosted a late-night extravaganza and dessert party with the “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro. Goldbelly flew in some of the most decadent desserts from across the country for the party.

Among the bakeries featured were Willa Jean in New Orleans, The Pie Hole in Los Angeles, Big Fat Cookie in Chicago, Blue Owl Bakery in Missouri, and Buddy Valastro’s own Carlo’s Bakery.

The next day, Goldbelly and Ariel hosted America’s Greatest Sandwich Showdown with Travel Channel’s “Man Finds Foods,” Adam Richman. Sandwiches were flown in from across the country, including Central Grocery in New Orleans, Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh, Pat’s King of Steaks in Philadelphia, and McLoon’s Lobster Rolls in Maine.
