On Sunday, September 2 at 10 a.m., the resort will roll out its grand creation, a 100-pound doughnut that is Tahitian vanilla-flavored, covered in a pink sweet cream frosting, and decorated with neon jimmies and tropical fruit macaron crisps.
The doughnut not only celebrates Labor Day weekend, but it also commemorates the one-year anniversary of the resort’s DoNut Disturb package, which involves circular sweets in addition to other perks.
A slicing ceremony will occur on September 2, with the tasting to follow. It will surely add something extra sweet to the guests’ brunch experience that morning.
