The Connecticut Cake Competition and Cake Challenge is set for Feb. 26-27 in Hartford, CT. The 2011 show theme is “A Touch of the South.”  On Sunday, Feb. 27, there will be a special meet and greet "Brunch with the Stars" – featuring WE TV, TLC and Food Network Cake Challenge stars who will share their experiences and participate in an autograph session.

In addition to the competition and brunch, you can learn a variety of sugar art techniques in any of the classes that will be held over both days of the event. Instructors include Norman Davis, Ashley Vicos and more.
