iba is a stage for suppliers to the baking industry to showcase their latest innovations to the global baking industry. At this year’s trade fair Sept. 12-17 in Munich, Germany, Uzwil-based Bühler will present many different technologies for product intake, baking preparations and for the production of chocolate and compound methods.

The company will put on display its ingredient handling processes including dry and liquid component. Dry materials can be measured accurately with Bühler’s microdosing equipment. An on-line measuring system offers bakers the ability to exert intelligent control over their dry materials handling throughout the pre-baking stage. For liquids, Bühler presents JetMix, a method for the simultaneous hydration of flours and other dry ingredients. This approach creates homogenous sponge doughs and sour doughs. The JetMix also includes automate CIP cleaning.

The company also will showcase its SmartChoc system at iba. The compact machine combines the functions of an agitator mill, mixer and conching machine for the production of chocolate and compound mass in small batches.

Bühler will be displaying these technologies in Hall B5, booth No. 380/470.
