The innovative collection of five spirit-filled bonbons is crafted with Valrhona’s finest chocolate varietals and infused with abstract interpretations of cocktails from different eras of history.
From the opulence of ancient Rome to the refined Victorian era, and even the contemporary Millennial era, the spirited bonbons take chocolate lovers on a decadent journey through time. The collection is the brainchild of Musaafer’s executive pastry chef, Ruchit Harneja, and the restaurant’s dynamic bar team.
Starting at $29 per box, Musaafer’s Epoch Bonbon collection features a range of flavors and ingredients that evoke the essence of each chocolate’s respective era. They include:
- Roman – Infused with Flor de Cana 25 Rum, stone fruits, and nutty flavors and encased in Valrhona passion fruit inspired chocolate, the Roman bonbon is rich and indulgent reminiscent of the splendor of ancient Rome.
- Renaissance – Embodying the golden era of art and culture, this bonbon combines the richness of Martell Cordon Bleu Extra Cognac, the depth of Port Wine, and the allure of coffee. Encased in Valrhona's 40% Jivara milk chocolate, it presents a velvety and sophisticated taste that harkens back to Renaissance grandeur.
- Victorian – Experience the refined elegance of the Victorian era with this delicate bonbon featuring Hayman Old Tom Gin, floral notes, and citrusy flavors. Encased in Valrhona's 33% Opalys white chocolate, it offers a smooth and graceful taste profile that captures the essence of Victorian refinement.
