Recently, it was reported that Klondike would be discontinuing one of its popular frozen treats, the Choco Taco. Thousands of people online expressed their discontentment with the news, and to help satisfy customers for at least one day, a New York eatery is offering a special version of the treat.

For National Taco Day on Tuesday, October 4, in homage to the Klondike Choco Taco, Serendipity3 will be serving “The Serendipity Golden Taco” on its menu exclusively for one day only, priced at $100.

Created with house-made waffles, stuffed with Serendipity Brands’ Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream, dipped in rare Ruby Chocolate and topped with 23K edible gold, the over-the-top tribute to the Choco Taco is a showstopper, much like Serendipity3’s other famous desserts.

Customers can book their reservations online via Resy for Tuesday, October 4 while spots are available to indulge in the one-of-a-kind golden dessert, recognizing the place Klondike Choco Tacos have in food lovers’ hearts.
