As we get closer to Christmas, many will turn to social media to find new and exciting recipes for holiday gatherings. One of the top resources for finding trendy recipes in recent years is TikTok, which now boasts over 1 billion global users.

Jack and Beyond Christmas Cakes, an award-winning online cake shop in Fulham, London, recently sought to find the most popular Christmas recipes for 2021 using TikTok, where Christmas recipe hashtags have over 135 million views.

Jack and Beyond collated a seed list of recipes from articles found on Google using search terms relating to Christmas themed food and drink, then cross-referenced every recipe planned to be in the seed list with TikTok to see if there was enough data to gather a view count. It searched TikTok for the total number of views using the hashtags associated with each recipe, and each recipe was ranked according to likes to find the most popular food and drink trends according to TikTok. This data was found on the December 5, 2021 and is subject to change.
