National Cookie Month takes place in October, and cookie bakery chain Mrs. Fields is preparing for it with a special offer to customers.

Throughout the entire month of October, customers can get one free cookie when they buy three. The company suggests using the offer to stock up for Halloween parties.

Among the cookie flavors that are currently available at Mrs. Fields locations nationwide is the Caramel Pecan Cookie. The seasonal cookie is reminiscent of a holiday pecan pie and features a sugar cookie dipped in cinnamon and sugar, then topped with rich pecans and drizzled with sweet caramel.
