Pinkberry continues innovation with healthy snacking
Pinkberry, the original brand that reinvented the frozen yogurt category, launches Pinkberry Smoothies featuring fresh, all-natural Pinkberrygreek yogurt. Pinkberry Smoothies combine simple, nutritious ingredients like hand-cut fruit and protein-rich Greek yogurt in one cup, to offer more choices for healthy snacking on-the-go. They are available in five delicious flavors nationwide starting June 7.
"Pinkberry is focused on innovation," says Ron Graves, CEO of Pinkberry. "Whether consumers want a delicious treat or snack, we will continue to bring them new and exciting products that feature our fresh silky, smooth Pinkberrygreek yogurt or our light and refreshing frozen yogurts."
Packed with at least 11g of protein and rich in probiotics, Pinkberry Smoothies are a filling snack or meal on-the-go. They are made with five simple ingredients: Pinkberrygreek yogurt, fresh fruit, milk, ice and agave nectar, a natural sweetener, and contain no powders or thickeners. The Smoothies are available in a variety of fresh and delicious flavors including Strawberry Banana, Mixed Berry, Pineapple Coconut, Cucumber Mint, and Peanut Butter. Pinkberry is also launching Kale Strawberry exclusively in the Southern California market.
Pinkberry Smoothies are made with Pinkberrygreek yogurt that was launched in stores nationwide in April. Pinkberry partnered with Fair Oaks Farms, a fully sustainable, family-owned and operated farm to source the high quality farm-fresh milk that is used to create the silky, smooth Greek yogurt with a well-balanced flavor and clean finish. There is no chalkiness, no sour notes, no thickeners and no preservatives. Just milk and live, active cultures.
"The key to making our Pinkberrygreek yogurt is the quality of the milk going into the product," Graves says. "We partnered with Fair Oaks Farms because we have like-minded values on quality of product. We are not just creating a great-tasting yogurt, but working together to innovate on best practices in the yogurt-making process as well."
Each batch of Pinkberrygreek yogurt is traceable back to the herd of happy, healthy cows living at Fair Oaks Farms. The milk is instantly chilled to 36 degrees and immediately delivered to the yogurt plant to maintain a freshness you can taste. Both the farm and yogurt plant are powered by renewable energy.
