During the month of January, Lebanon, Indiana’s Titus Bakery celebrated 40 years of business at its two central Indiana locations. For 40 years Titus Bakery has operated from its location in Lebanon, originally serving a variety of pastries.

In 2012, founder Bill Titus decided to retire and enlisted the help of his daughter Terry Rake to find a buyer. However, Terry saw this as an opportunity to grow the business and keep it in the family. In addition to expanding hours and visibility, Terry began an extending offering on the cakes, pies, cookies, other baked items, and added a deli. She then changed the name from Titus Pastries to Titus Bakery.

The bakery is best known for its famous Pershing donut, which features a cinnamon center and maple icing.

For National Donut Day on June 1, 2018, Titus won 1st place in the Specialty Donut category at the WIBC (a commercial FM radio station in Indianapolis) National Donut Day contest with its Peanut Butter Fluff Long John. It is chocolate iced with a peanut butter fluffy center.

The Titus Cream Horn is another popular pastry at the bakery. It's made with a flaky puff pastry, filled with a fluffy filling, and sprinkled with sugar.

In addition to its award-winning pastries, Titus Bakery also offers a lunch menu with a variety of sandwiches. One of the most beloved is The Moovelous R&B, made wiht seasoned Boar's Head roast beef and yellow Vermont cheddar.
