New flavors are a major focus of fall. The pumpkin cupcake returned to the menu on Monday, August 27. It consists of a pumpkin cake laced with ginger, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It is then topped with a sweet cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Sprinkles will also offer a pumpkin spice latte cupcake from September 10-23 and a candy apple cupcake complete with spiced Granny Smith apples cooked in butter and brown sugar from September 24-October 7.
For students, the bakery is offering a promotion where customers can buy a cupcake and get one for free when they show a test or paper with an A letter grade. The promotion runs during Tuesdays in September. Teachers are getting a treat as well, as any teacher who shows their school I.D. on Mondays in September can enjoy a buy one, get one free cupcake offer.
Football season also brings unique offers. $5 Football Mini Samplers are now available at locations nationwide, as are Sprinkles Bake Boxes, which make perfect tailgating companions. The Sprinkles Bake Box is a conveniently-packaged assortment of four freshly-baked cupcakes, four chocolate chip cookies, four fudge brownies and two "frosting shots" in different flavors (inclusions may vary depending on location).
