The Philadelphia Eagles capped off an impressive 2017-2018 season by defeating the New England Patriots to win the Lombardi Trophy. This Thursday, the reigning NFL champion will open up the 2018-2019 season with a game against the Atlanta Falcons.

To celebrate the season opener of its beloved hometown team, Philadelphia’s Federal Donuts will offer a special donut for that day only. The ‘Iggle’ Donut makes it return to the menu after being introduced last year in the playoffs.

The donut features a Kelly green glaze and is, according to the shop’s Instagram post from last year, “sprinkled with Philadelphia grit and brotherly love.” It will be offered at multiple locations throughout Philadelphia.

During last season’s championship run for the Eagles, the ‘Iggle’ Donut was introduced to benefit the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia. Proceeds from the Iggle donut sales went to help the fund’s goal to identify, coordinate, and connect philanthropic resources to leverage investments in Philadelphia public schools.
