Beginning Tuesday, August 28, Starbucks made its fall food and beverage items available to customers nationwide. Most notable among those is the world famous Pumpkin Spice Latte, a tradition going on 15 years, which is made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.

In addition to the PSL, other beverage items on the menu are the Teavana Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte and the Salted Caramel Mocha, which consists of mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup, combined with espresso and milk. It’s then topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a blend of turbinado sugar and sea salt.

New fall food items at Starbucks include the Pumpkin Muffin, the Apple Cider Doughnut, and the Morning Muffin, which features rolled oats, carrots, zucchini, coconut, raisins, and walnuts topped with pepitas, oats, and raw cane sugar.

Returning fall bakery favorites include pumpkin scones and seasonal takes on coffee cake and blueberry muffins.

While some may bemoan the seemingly-too-early return of the fall menu at Starbucks, others will look to enjoy the Pumpkin Spice Latte and other fall favorites as soon as possible. Regardless of how warm the weather currently is around the country, retailers will soon follow Starbucks’ lead.
