One of the biggest names in doughnuts in the country continues to expand. Voodoo Doughnut has announced that it will open its second location in the SOBO (South Broadway) district of Denver, Colorado.

The eclectic doughnut company based in Portland, Oregon looks for similar business areas for its shops, and it believes it has found one in the SOBO district. The area boasts a unique mix of local businesses, including a number of bakeries and restaurants.

“We’re excited and happy to be part of the Denver community and are looking forward to continuing to provide employment, fantastic doughnuts, and smiles to a growing neighborhood,” says Voodoo Doughnut co-founder Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson.

In addition to its two Denver locations and the original location in Portland, Voodoo Doughnut also has locations in Eugene (Oregon), Austin (Texas), Universal Studios CityWalk in Hollywood (California), and Universal Studios Resort in Orlando (Florida).
