New York City’s Supermoon Bakehouse has become known for its croissant innovation. The bakery has impressed many with its gourmet versions of a classic pastry.

The latest way that Supermoon Bakehouse is breathing new life into croissants is with a treat that is perfect for the hot summer months. The bakery has created a croissant butter soft serve ice cream. It has quickly become a social media sensation after being introduced just a few days ago.

Croissant butter soft serve consists of a house made soft serve made using the best part of the croissant, the croissant butter. It’s then coated with dehydrated extra crunchy croissant crumbs made with extra salt and sugar. Finally, it’s topped with a slice of an actual croissant.

According to Supermoon Bakehouse, the soft serve is sweet, salty, and buttery. For the Instagram crowd, there’s another special feature to the soft serve that will make it photo-ready: it comes in a hypercolor color changing cup and spoon that change color with heat and cold.

The bakery has also been celebrating Pride Month in June with a special Pride Croissant that is rainbow colored. For each Pride Croissant sold, Supermoon Bakehouse is donating $1 to The LGBT Community Center in New York City.
