The Summer Fancy Food Show is set for June 30-July 2 in New York. It’s the largest specialty food industry event in North America, and retailers will be looking to showcase their innovative products.

One of those is Dewey’s Bakery in North Carolina. The bakery is launching several new items at the Summer Fancy Food Show, including mouthwatering cookie flavors.

Dewey’s Bakery is introducing The Doughnut Shop, a new line of Soft Baked Cookies inspired by classic doughnuts. These cookies are topped with a layer of authentic doughnut glaze. Flavors that will be available starting in early 2019 include Cinnamon Bun, Chocolate Glazed Doughnut, Old Fashioned Glazed Doughnut, and Apple Fritter.

New chocolate flavors are also on the horizon for Dewey’s. Inspired by its Moravian Style Cookie Thins, the bakery is launching a variety of chocolate dipped flavors, which include Chocolate Dipped Brownie Crisp, Chocolate Dipped Salted Caramel, and Chocolate Dipped Mint.

“Dewey’s Bakery has received such positive reception in the marketplace, which has allowed us to spend time creating innovative new flavors, as well as re-imagining our classics,” says Scott Livengood, owner and CEO of Dewey’s Bakery. “We are thrilled that more and more people nationwide get to take a virtual trip to our hometown bakery with every bite of our sweet treats. It creates an authentic connection between our history, our flavors and our customers.”

Seasonal flavors will also be showcased at the Summer Fancy Food Show. Starting in August of 2018, Moravian Style Cookie Thins will be available in Apple Cider and Pumpkin Spice, and Soft Baked Cookies will be available in Apple Spice Cake and Pumpkin Pie. Holiday flavors include Hot Cocoa and Gingerbread, among others.
