Trejo’s Coffee & Donuts opened in Los Angeles just over a year ago, and has made a big impression in its infancy. The venture from actor Danny Trejo has gained plenty of attention for its flavorful donuts, and its latest doesn’t disappoint.

In celebration of the return of the FIFA World Cup, Trejo’s is offering soccer ball donuts for the duration of the global sporting event. The donuts look like soccer balls on the outside, but it’s the inside where they get their real flavor – each donut is filled with chocolate pudding.

Each donut costs $5 and makes for an excellent treat before any World Cup match, especially those that are televised in the early morning hours here in the United States.

On Saturday, June 16, Trejo’s Coffee & Donuts will be appearing at the first-ever DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles) Festival. The event plans to showcase a variety of special donuts from local shops, as well as a “live fry” donut station and chef demos.
