At the Sweet & Snacks Expo in Chicago last month, a new treat was spotted from Dunkin’ Donuts that could soon see the national chain make its mark in the candy game.

Instagram account Junk Food Mom recently posted about Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Thins, reporting that the creamy chocolate treat would be made with the brand’s ground coffee beans. It would reportedly come in three flavors: Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Spice, and Caramel.

According to Delish, Dunkin’ Donuts issued a statement saying that the Coffee Thins were originally tested inside restaurants in 2014, and it is currently having discussions with Tierra Nueva Fine Cocoa to bring them to grocery stores and other retailers later in the year.

The specific details on the flavors and the national launch date have not been decided, but it is certain that there would be plenty of buzz surrounding this new treat when it hits shelves.
