In the wake of National Donut Day, Los Angeles will be celebrating the popular pastry with a first-time festival.

The DTLA Donut Festival will be held at the city’s Union Station on Saturday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST. The event plans to showcase a variety of special donuts, in categories such as plain, glazed, and filled, as well as “donut-adjacent” treats like churros, apple fritters, and donut holes.

The Whole Donut Marketplace will feature a dozen donut vendors:

  • Trejo’s Donuts
  • Primo’s Donuts
  • DK’s Donuts
  • Glazed Donut Bar
  • Fat Uncle Farms
  • J's Mini Donuts
  • Donut Princess LA
  • Kettle Glaze
  • Air + Day Vegan Donuts
  • Dream Donut Truck
  • RING Baked Tofu Donuts
  • Churros Don Abel

The DTLA Donut Festival will also feature a “live fry” donut station making hot apple fritters to order. There will also be coffee vendors, as well as wood-fired pizza and craft beer.

For the DIY crowd, chef demos will teach visitors how to make Instagram-caliber donuts.
