Christina Tosi’s baking empire continues to grow with her latest store set to open in Washington, D.C.’s Logan Circle neighborhood on Saturday, June 2. Milk Bar’s 14th store also happens to be its biggest yet, located in a 2,383-square-foot space that used to be an auto repair shop.

This bakery and café will feature many of the same foods and beverages as other stores, with several new additions. According to Eater DC, some of those items include, “a turkey sausage and egg bagel bomb; debut toppings for soft serve ranging from strawberry-flavored gummies to crunchy nuggets combining chocolate, peanut butter, and dulce de leche; a blueberry pie shake; and the crowning achievement: a chocolate fudge-filled, cinnamon sugar-dusted waffle cone filled with soft serve.”

An exciting upgrade for the new location is the experimental lab, where customers can see the latest culinary innovations Milk Bar is creating. Tosi says that one new cookie, bread, and truffle will debut each Wednesday, and other testing could be done in the kitchen with ice cream flavors, cakes, and reimagined classics.

The bakery will also host weekly baking classes, including one on June 2 where Tosi will show guests how to make Milk Bar’s famous naked Birthday Cake, as well as its B’Day Truffles. Proceeds from that class will benefit N Street Village, an organization that works to empowers homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. to claim their highest quality of life.
