From April 29 to May 5, 2018, U.S. small businesses are recognized for their hard work in growing the economy, creating jobs, and innovating. National Small Business Week has celebrated these contributions since 1963.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), more than half of all Americans either own or work for a small business, and small businesses create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. Many of those businesses are in foodservice, including bakeries.

As part of National Small Business Week, the SBA highlights the impact of small business owners and their creation of jobs and innovation that make the country successful.

The SBA provides plenty of useful tips and tools for fulfilling business success. In the following slideshow, take a look at six tools you can use to your business’s benefit this year.
