One of North America’s largest manufacturers of specialty food packaging for restaurants and supermarkets has appointed an industry veteran for a new high-level position.

Anchor Packaging, Inc. has named Richard Daniels as its Vice President, Strategy & Information Technology. Daniels brings over 30 years’ experience in plastics packaging and technology, manufacturing, and innovation with companies such as Monsanto, Solutia, and Honeywell and most recently was COO and co-founder of a successful consumer-electronics company acquired by Harman International. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and attained his MBA at Xavier University.
