Krispy Kreme Doughnuts recently announced that it has begun selling it latest limited-time offering. The new doughnut comes from a unique partnership with The Hershey Company.

Starting Monday, February 19, the Hershey’s Gold Doughnut was made available to customers. It pairs a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut with pieces of the new Hershey’s Gold bar and salted caramel icing.

The combination of flavors strikes a balance between sweet and salty, with a crunchy finish.

The Hershey’s Gold bar features a caramelized creme base with salty peanuts and pretzel bits inside. It is just the fourth bar flavor in the company’s 117-year history. The company’s partnership with Krispy Kreme is not its first, as the two combined flavors in 2017 for the Krispy Kreme Reese’s Peanut Butter Doughnut.

“One of the ways we bring joy to our customers is by innovating to create unique doughnuts that only Krispy Kreme Doughnuts can deliver. We’ve created the perfect balance between smooth and crunchy by including actual pieces of the salty sweet Hershey’s Gold bar on our Original Glazed Doughnut,” says Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
