Cupcake Market opened in New York City’s East Village in 2016, making headlines for its cookies featuring celebrity faces. It began during the 2016 presidential primaries, with the shop allowing customers to choose the face cookies of their preferred candidate.

Soon, Cupcake Market offered the face cookies for other celebrities like Drake, Kanye West, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Ryan Gosling, and more. The bakery is now extending that idea to less-famous faces. Customers can get cookies personalized in their own likenesses.

Each face is hand-painted with detail by a cookie artist to create a cookie replica of the individual. They make an ideal gift for another person, or as a vanity purchase for one’s self.

Customers are encouraged to send multiple pictures of themselves or any person to the bakery’s email address ([email protected]). After seven days, the cookies will be completed and available for pickup. Orders are limited to a maximum of two faces, and a minimum of 10 cookies to be purchased at $16 each.
